Patient Care Services

Compassionate, intelligent and highly-skilled, our Patient Care staff is on the forefront of care. Truly considered partners on the journey, LPNs, Medical Assistants, Outpatient office staff and primary and specialty care providers help patients to manage acute and chronic diseases, promote wellness and prevent illness.

With health centers throughout Washtenaw and surrounding counties, as well as the famed Taubman, Cancer and Cardiovascular Centers located on our main campus; our team participates in outpatient treatments, medical assessments, hospital consultations and more. We offer team collaboration on diverse cases, growth and advancement opportunities and a positive work environment that will empower them each day.

Patient Care Services assistive personnel include:

Individuals in these roles provide an extraordinary service working directly with experts in the clinical fields. Such services include: interaction with patients and families, procedures within the department, documentation of patient data and assisting the practicing clinician with other necessary duties.


How to Get Started

Patient care assistive personnel roles generally require certification or graduation from an accredited training program or, depending on the position, a high school diploma with on-the-job training.
